Lugar das Letras is an exclusive refuge in the heart of the Douro, resulting from the rehabilitation of an old primary school in the village. Surrounded by vineyards and gardens, it combines history, privacy, and modern comfort, offering an authentic and memorable experience. Ideal for families, groups of friends, or travellers seeking tranquillity, nature, and local culture.

The house is rented on a self-catering basis and exclusively, ensuring total privacy. It has 4 double rooms with private bathrooms, additional beds for up to 3 guests, and a total capacity for 11 people. With 6 bathrooms, spacious and functional areas, the space was designed to offer well-being to all visitors.
Comfort and Amenities
Inside, you will find a fully equipped kitchen, a cosy living room with a fireplace and JBL sound system, as well as varied entertainment: TV, record player, arcade video games, library, and board games. For the little ones, a cot, high chair, toys, and other children's equipment are available.
Comfort is guaranteed in all seasons with central air conditioning, heating, and a fireplace. The laundry room with washing and drying machine is at the guests' disposal.
Outside, Lugar das Letras offers a private pool (heating available upon request and at an additional cost), barbecue area, terraces, and a fully enclosed garden with views of the Douro vineyards.

The stay includes a daily breakfast, designed to start the day in the best way. For bookings over 7 nights, an additional cleaning service is offered.
