Choosing the right company to manage your property is a very important decision!
At Hopstays we believe that trust and transparency are the most important values that determine your choice and the ones we care the most. That is why we wanted to share our story 🙂
It all started 5 years ago when Rodrigo Tejana went to Porto and started to invest in small apartments to do Short Term. When he sold a couple of them to investors they needed someone to manage and suddenly he became a property manager.
Lately in 2021 his friend Nuno Moreira bought an apartment and they started to do it together. And when there were many requests to open in new geographies, especially in the Algarve, the trigger to start Hopstays arrived! It all happened in 2022 when they met Andrea Sbrissa and Renè Zanella, the other 2 partners of Hopstays, that were fundamental to create a company that has now presence in all Portugal and is starting its first steps in Italy!
The fact that our company had partners that are also property owners was fundamental to understand what they value the most:
- Assume all bureaucracies needed to start operating the Short Term
- Take care of the house as if it was their own, with periodic maintenance
- Have a state of the art cleaning in the property
- Deal with the Customer Support to provide an amazing guest experience
- Provide detailed financial reports to maximize their return on investment
What are the results?
Hopstays now has 26 operating properties in 2 countries (Portugal and Italy). In Portugal we are present in 3 regions: 13 properties in Porto (Porto and Gaia), 8 properties in Algarve (Albufeira, Vilamoura and Portimão) and 3 properties in Setúbal (Palmela and Almada). In Italy we have 2 properties in the Veneto region (Bassano del Grappa). To make all this possible we have a team of 11 people and all of us would be happy to partner with more owners that share the same values than us.
